my name is Diana so my name is Alejandro and where they go to school relationship that they have teachers write with staff by with their principal were a family here at our Co lay and we all look out for one another right to ensure that we're reaching our Highest Potential as a school one of our challenges most recently of course is covid-19 we've adapted pretty well this hasn't been an easy transition but it has been a successful one I can talk to all my cancellarius on pictures to help me with anything teachers are very inspirational they always have something to say about everything they have amazing advice and I feel like we can have a really close connection like student-teacher connection like that my favorite teacher is probably my AP calc teacher mr. bedoya because he's an absolute inspiration he's an amazing teacher is incredibly intelligent and he's one of the first taught me a logical reasoning and mathematic stands among many other things all of them support me and oh my not liking all my classes whether I need from my Spanish teacher to help me with my English and Spanish so I can say one I think they all have helped me and I can learn a lot from them cuz they are very genuine people I am a senior I want to major in advertising so I'm looking at the correct path I can take to major in that and I kind of want to stay here because we're in Silicon Valley so I know being here is going to get me into a lot of a lot of poor kitties and intercept companies that I might not be able to get somewhere else also I can still stay close to my family I am the first one in my family to go to college because like my parents are immigrants and most they didn't have time to go and attend college when talk to them about leaving home and going to these far places it's it's a nerve-wracking for them obviously because I'm their son and also because like it's it's a it's a new experience for I only need but them to like to have their son go to college go so far away they very much and body are culture and Mexican culture the Heritage we celebrate many of the things that are expressed by I feel like that's very well reflected also in the school in the campus and then my family is very happy that I'm here a lot to do with Indian culture and very helpful to keep reminded we do have a lot of activities and a lot of the dancers with music from Echo weed eater and a lot of decorations specially Heritage Plaza so you do have a lot of things that remind us of cultures a lot of Latino teachers to that keep the language present to us teachers in both languages essentially the professional development that are teachers receive filters down to our students and so all of the requests that we have made and that I have made personally as a principal the foundation has been able to meet successfully in that it supports the student outcomes so I've I've been really privileged and fortunate to work for this organization in terms of a growing as an educator but also seen RC Allegro as a whole we are the foundation for Hispanic Education Foundation for Hispanic education Roberto Cruz Leadership Academy
