Greetings RCLA Family,
This school year is speeding by. RCLA has so many wonderful upcoming events at which all are welcome.
As a career educator my commitment is to excellence for all students. At RCLA we have implemented Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday tutoring. All students are invited to attend.
The first grading period of Semester One ends tomorrow, February 10. We have Winter Break beginning February 20 through the 24th. Students return on February 27. This week away from school is a perfect opportunity for students to get caught up on school work to raise their grades.
On Monday February 27 the Principal’s Platinum Honor Roll students and families will be treated to a recognition ceremony and dinner in the Finn Center. Principal’s Gold Honor Roll students will have the same on Monday, March 6, 2023. Platinum Principal’s Honor Roll is for students who have a 4.1 GPA or above. Gold Principal’s Honor Roll is for students who have earned a 3.5 - 4.0 GPA in the first semester. Silver Principal’s Honor Roll students will have a ceremony and dessert on Friday, March 26, 2023 at 2:45 pm. Each ceremony will be in the Finn Center.
I want to thank you all for your support as RCLA moves forward to prepare all students for life after high school and beyond. Please feel free to contact me with any questions and suggestions. We have a parent meeting every first Wednesday of the month. It’s a place for parents to be heard and for me to listen. Also we update parents on what is happening and changing at the school.
