Roberto Cruz Leadership Academy offers learning and leadership experiences outside of the classroom.  We invite your child down this wonderful path of academic and personal growth.

Jaguar Student Life


There are no finer representatives of Roberto Cruz Leadership Academy and what we stand for than the Jaguar Ambassadors. These young leaders engage in regular, real-life leadership situations that include: public speaking, networking, event coordination, and how to work as a team. 

The Jaguar Ambassadors represent RCLA off campus as well, networking with a community that they will one day work in.  In addition to real-life experience, students receive training and mentorship by a cadre of educators and professionals.

MESA School Programs

Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) helps thousands of educationally disadvantaged students to become engineers, scientists, and other math-based professionals urgently needed by industry. RCLA offers the MESA Schools Program to students who are interested in becoming future STEM Majors in College.

Jaguar World Travelers

Jaguar Student Life

The Travel Club provides students with the opportunity to travel abroad. Students have the chance to visit countries like Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Thailand, and Japan. Students involved in the club learn about the countries they are visiting and also get a chance to fundraise.

The next travel opportunity for our Jaguars is to Switzerland in 2026.
